Apart from how delicious the food was, as expected for Bancone, the attention Victor gave us was beyond excellent.
Never had someone been so attentive to our needs (my glass of water was never empty) without feeling intrusive.
One of those servers that make you choose this particular Bancone over others.

Really poor service, totally ruined our experience! Won’t come back soon.
It’s a shame because the food is so so good. It is my second time jn Bancone and I used to recommend people to go but not anymore.
Started with 15 minutes with no one even give us a little bit of attention. Then when the waiters finally come no even hello or asking if we want water. Just waiting to get our order. Literally no words left her mouth😅 we ordered food and 3 cocktails (planned to get a bottle of red after)
The starters came and tasted really good, still not any sign of drinks (15 minutes later). We didn’t finished our starters and the mains came. They started taking our plates with food in it which we asked not to. Then we asked someone about our drinks but nothing happened. We are eating our mains which again were SUPERB. And ask our waiter for our drinks (she didn’t looked at our table to check for 40 minutes?!) and then she came back saying the bar missed the ticket and asked for them again as she “forgot”. We ordered. Meanwhile we finished our meal we are disappointed cause even our water being only filled once, don’t know why we didn’t got a bottle. And after another 15 minutes we said we don’t want the drinks anymore cause we basically done. Another waiter coming with the drinks finally, the waiter on the table tell her we don’t want it. We said no. Then she offered a dessert for free (while holding the drinks in her hand) instead of just give us the drinks on the house as its the least you can offer instead of wasting it as well. it how hospitality works (as someone who works in it)
Just ruined all dinner which is a shame cause the food is great. But 4 staff members couldn’t overcome such a small issue. There is no attention to details or customer service in general. Poor poor poor service!

Hadn't been to Bancone in a year until
Last night, no idea why! I could eat the Silk Hankerchiefs every day of the week the added truffle is definetly worth adding on. Staff were really nice and the Amira wine was great!

egg yolk：好吃！坚果搭配帕玛森芝士和蛋黄，非常独特的味道！面的口感也很劲道！
spicy pork ragu：好吃！猪肉有烟熏的味道！面比egg的更软一些
burrata：一般，太油腻了，面包碎过于咸了
chocolate：生巧！很丝滑！很细腻！
食物满分，不过服务不太好

My sister and I had a lovely time here. Alexandra has recommended a very nice wine and her friendly attitude makes it an even more pleasant meal :)

We were able to find a table on a Saturday around 17.30 but I would recommend you to book in advance. Silk handkerchief was great, walnut butter is amazing. I tried one of their new dishes with bottarga. I was skeptical but it was good but next time I would get silk handkerchief.

Bancone at Golden Square serves amazing pasta, but I wish there were more gluten-free options. The staff were lovely and didn’t charge me when I accidentally broke a glass of wine, which I really appreciated. However, the service was quite slow, and we had to wait a lot longer than expected for some of our drinks. Overall, a great spot for pasta, but the service could be a bit quicker.

서버 분들도 굉장히 친절하셨어요 👍🏻 예약은 무조건 하고 가셔야 됩니다…

Food was A+. Highly recommend the fried artichoke, which was such a flavour bomb, and the cacio e pepe, which, as others mention, was at par with ones in Rome. Other highlights were the pasta fritta and the hankerchief pasta. We didn't have any dessert but cocktails were pretty good as well. Planning to come back later this week.

The issue was with the service. Our server seemed really disinterested and was frankly super rude to us when we asked for vegetarian options and a few questions about the menu. Bancone needs to 1) staff people who are not creating an unpleasant environment for the diner and 2) ensure enough staff are there to meet the restaurant’s level of busy.

Honestly i expected a bit more. First off I wouldn’t necessarily book counter seating again as we were seated right by the door and the breeze from outside kept blowing straight at us. The service wasn’t that great either, I think a table we would’ve been better. If our waiter at least checked in once I could’ve asked if we could eat somewhere else. They never asked for our drink order and my partner ordered it right before our food came. It’s just the little things
On a positive note the food was lovely, I just wished we seated somewhere else
